Osteria Sonnino was a great experience! They have a lovely patio and a large menu with plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice meal in a comfortable setting.

Great prices for great food. We loved this restaurant in Trastevere and the ambient was very cozy with lights, warm and friendly staff. The food was very nice, we tried all three types: risotto, pasta and lasagna. Loved it!!!

This was hands-down our favorite restaurant in Rome. We actually went twice because it was that good! The place has that perfect, cozy vibe, and the staff is great. They really have that Italian charm. Super talkative and welcoming. The Food was Next Level. For appetizers, we shared the Bruschetta with zucchini and buffalo ricotta cheese and the Artichoke trio, which were perfect. The artichokes were spot-on. For the main dish I had the Bucatini all’Amatriciana (with guanciale from Amatrice) and I am still thinking about that dish to this day. It was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. My dad had the Coda alla Vaccinara (oxtail), and the meat was incredibly tender and delicious. Every dish was an absolute winner. If you're looking for real, traditional Roman cooking with amazing ingredients, this is the place. They have many meat iptions as well. I hope I get to visit again soon! 10/10, would recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

The young man Leonardo out front said “you won’t be disappointed”……and he was right! Spaghetti and lasagna. Excellent! Just like my Nona’s kitchen! (God rest her soul!) Tomasso the waiter is smooth, shows up out of nowhere when you need him and looks after you well. We were outside for our lunch so there was some occasional street noise. Tasty pasta at a most reasonable value. Mostly locals there for lunch points to its excellence.
